Investors in Zero Waste

RecyCo recognised at the Investors in zero waste awards for its efforts in reducing waste sent to landfill.

RecyCo are delighted to announce that it has been awarded a four star rating by zero waste recognition scheme, Investors in Zero Waste.

The awards ceremony in London on Thursday 08 December, hosted by BBC’s Political Correspondent Ben Wright, saw more than 40 businesses recognised for their progress towards Zero Waste to Landfill.

RecyCo are very proud of this achievement and speaking after the event Martin McGirr Business Development Manager for RecyCo had this to say, ‘ This award is recognition for our focus on our zero waste-to-landfill program which has delivered cost savings, improved operational efficiencies and turned ‘waste’ into resources for RecyCo and our partner businesses.

We already have a large number of businesses achieving zero waste to landfill and with our ‘Zerowaste to landfill program’ we aim to help more of our clients achieve this ultimate goal.’

Established in 2010, and now with over 500 members, The Investors in Zero Waste recognises and rewards the innovation and commitment of businesses, public authorities and third sector organisations who are striving to eliminate waste.

RecyCo have had a busy end to the year winning the Sustainable Ireland Industrial Symbiosis Award 2016.
